Another f(x) member accepted a challenging role as a lost granddaughter in the Taiwanese drama When Love Walked In with co-label mate Zhoumi of Super Junior-M.

YoonA [Girls’ Generation]

(Love Rain)

One of the pretty girls of Girls’ Generation made her drama debut in Love Rain with Jang Geun Suk.

       Suzy [Miss A]

(Dream High, Big)

She received three awards this year because of her role in Dream High. Recently, her latest drama Big had aired in Korea.

This KPop’s Sweetheart played a role in Dream High that inspired chubby persons who want to lose weight to achieve their own dreams.

A member of this year’s controversial girl group T-ARA took a good-evil-good role in Dream High. 

My Most Admired KPop Idols Turned Into Actors

It's amazing that I'm interested watching dramas on Korean TV via KBS World (with English Subtitles) and SBS or online via live stream and English-subtitled replay sites or on Philippine TV via ABS-CBN, TV5 or GMA (Tagalog-dubbed) with Korean idols as cast. So, I list my most admired KPop idols turned into actors. (Well, I didn't include girls on this list!)

MinHo [SHINee]

(Salamander Guru, To The Beautiful You)

This year, the charisma member of SHINee became the handsome high-jump athlete Kang Taejoon in the Korean version of Hana Kimi called To The Beautiful You which is currently airing in SBS. But he also starred in the drama Salamander Guru with other KPop idols.

Siwon [Super Junior]

(Poseidon, Skip Beat)

Super Junior member took the spotlight in the dramas Poseidon as a SWAT officer and Skip Beat as a famous star Dun He Lian. Now, he’s busy doing a new drama to be aired either at the end of the year or next year.

Donghae [Super Junior]

(Skip Beat, Panda and Hedgehog)

Another Super Junior member starred in Skip Beat as Bu Po Shang. This year, he has latest drama called Panda and Hedgehog and it’s currently airing.

Zhoumi [Super Junior-M]

A handsome member of Super Junior-M accepted a role in When Love Walked In together with his co-label mate and f(x) member Victoria.

Yonghwa [CNBlue]

This CNBlue frontman showed his acting skill in the dramas You’re Beautiful and Heartstrings with Park Shin Hye. Now, he’s composing songs for his band and rookie artists Juniel and AOA.

Watch out! The member of ZE:A casted in To The Beautiful You who was jealous and has evil plans for Jaehee (Sulli’s role) to reveal her true identity. The interesting part was he always put some Etude House Shinistar lip balm on his lips.

Another ZE:A member played a serious role as teen Jeric Kim (who played by Lee Joon Hyuk) in Equator Man. Now, he’s currently promoting a song with his co-members as a group.

Wooyoung [2PM]

(Dream High)

A member from 2PM showcased his skill in acting besides singing and dancing in the hit drama Dream High. Early this year, he released his solo album with hit track Sexy Lady.

Taecyeon [2PM]

Like his co-member Wooyoung, he also showed his acting prowess in the drama 'Dream High'. Though his group's comeback postponed due to his another co-member's scandal, he will improve more on his skills, most especially in acting.

My Most Admired Korean Actors

Last time, I had a list of my most admired Korean actresses. Now, I made a list of my most admired Korean actors. Though there were only three, I'm hoping for this list to be added soon as I continuously watch Korean dramas.

Lee Joon Hyuk

(Three Brothers, City Hunter, Equator Man)

Being a prosecutor or lawyer in a drama always suits him. I started to like him in City Hunter as Prosecutor Kim. He’s currently fulfilling military duties for his country. 

Lee Hyun Woo

(Equator Man, To The Beautiful You)

He played a serious role as teen Samuel Kim (who played by Uhm Taewoong) in the drama Equator Man. But in the Korean version of Hana Kimi, he’s funny, bubbly and cute as he portrays Cha Eungyeol. 

Lee Min Ho

(Boys Over Flowers, Personal Preference, City Hunter, Faith)

Gu Junpyo was his most memorable role in the Korean version of Hana Yori Dango. After playing Johnny Kim in City Hunter, he starred in the traditional drama Faith. 

Bessy

Today is the birthday of a friend and a sister of mine who is special to my heart. This blog article is for her. We call each other ‘bessy’. Her name is Janella Nicole Geronimo from Taytay, Rizal, Philippines.

We first met online, in a forum site. We both love the Taiwanese boy band Fahrenheit. I didn’t doubt to send my number in a private message few days before the meet-up. We exchanged text messages to each other.
Few days after, that was June 5, 2010 when we finally met face-to-face in a food court of a famous shopping mall located along EDSA Mandaluyong. She’s so young and kind. A die-hard Pudding (Aaron Yan’s fans club name) currently studies at Centro Escolar University with a course of Business Management. We became friends after we met each other.

I considered her as my first best friend I ever had because we had seen each other at least once a month in our regular meet-up place which is a popular fast food chain near my school where I studied for 16 years. We share updates, stories and anything under the sun until we listen to KPop most often and like Super Junior.

We have differences. I studied at University of Santo Tomas while she studies at Centro Escolar University. She’s a DongLun (Jiro Wang and Aaron Yan) bias while I was a LunRu (Aaron Yan and Calvin Chen) bias. I also loved CalReen (Calvin Chen and Reen Yu) while she loved AaReen (Aaron Yan and Reen Yu) from the Taiwanese drama Love Buffet. Her CPop husband is Aaron Yan while mine is Calvin Chen. When it comes to KPop, hers is Jung Yonghwa from CNBlue while mine is Kim Jonghyun from SHINee. My Super Junior biases are Ryeowook and Sungmin while hers is Leeteuk. Currently, she's watching Donghae's drama ‘Panda and Hedgehog’ while I’m watching the Korean version of Hana Kimi titled ‘To The Beautiful You’.

But we have similarities that our friendship becomes closer. We took courses in the field of business management. We are both Fahrenheit and Reen Yu fan, and an ELF (Super Junior’s fans club name). We loved the drama Love Buffet. We had fallen in love with CNBlue front man Jung Yonghwa. Our other biases in Super Junior are Siwon and Donghae. When it comes to Korean dramas, we like Park Shin Hye. Now we are watching the drama of Super Junior M’s Zhoumi, Fahrenheit’s Calvin Chen, and f(x)’s Victoria Song which is ‘When Love Walked In’. 
   
The most important factors for this strong bond of friendship are respect, understanding, and acceptance. We respect each other’s opinions. We understand each other because we open up. We accept who we are as a person. Because of these, we never ever fight.

I thought I wouldn’t have a best friend until I met her. I thanked God that I never gave up in finding a true friend and He gave it unexpectedly who I will treasure forever. 

For the special sister in my heart, I’ll be ending this blog article as my last birthday surprise for her.

My Birthday Wishlist

It's exactly a month before my 23rd birthday. Oh, how time flies!!! Besides stable job and good health as I wish every year, I'm thinking material things which makes me happy being a fan girl.  

I've been collecting music albums of my favorite artists since elementary; from cassette tapes to CDs until unique and creative designs of their own different albums. Some contains only audio CD, or with DVD, or even posters/postcards. Somehow, its size matters how big an album is. Since my brother gave me a Super Junior's 5th album "Mr. Simple" as my 1st and only Korean album that I had, I listed below 6 albums from SM Entertainment artists as a part of my birthday (or Christmas) wishlist:
