A1: The First Boyband I Liked And Loved

I am a fan of late 90's music. One of them is A1. They were composed of Ben Adams, Mark Read, Christian Ingebrigtsen and Paul Marazzi. I completed in buying their albums and purchased some merchandise like button pin and t-shirt.

Their first album called Here We Go had 12 tracks. Be The First To Believe, Summertime Of Our Lives, Ready Or Not, Everytime, and Like A Rose were included in that album.

Their second album The A-List contained the hits such as Take On Me, No More, One More Try, and Same Old Brand New You.

Make It Good was their third album that showed Mark and Christian's skills in playing musical instruments: keyboards and guitar. Songs that were included in that album were Caught In The Middle, Make It Good, Learn To Fly, and One Last Song.

As Paul left the group they released the greatest hits album called A1: The Best Of. It includes their hits from their previous albums plus their unreleased tracks titled High And Dry and You're Not In Love. You're Not In Love and Living The Dream are my most favorite among their tracks since their debut.

When the group disbanded, they were active releasing their solo albums and singles in Europe. At the year 2009, Ben joined Celebrity Big Brother in United Kingdom and took fifth place at the show's big finale night.

More than a decade after releasing a total of four albums and Paul's departure, Ben, Christian, and Mark regrouped and continued their career as A1. They released their latest album Waiting For Daylight.

Few days before their concert in Manila, I decided not to attend because of financial problems. I would not be able to see them perform live on stage. Good luck to them together with Blue and Jeff Timmons of 98 Degrees.
