The Anime Style of Romance

I've been an anime fan for more than 15 years. I've watched a lot of anime series: Sailormoon, Colourcloud Palace (Saiunkoku Monogatari), La Corda D'Oro Primo Passo, Ghost Fighter (YuYu Hakusho), Flame of Recca and Naruto to name a few. Either it's a shonen or shoujo story, I'm going to watch it if I like it.

One of the anime series I'd liked is Fushigi Yuugi or also known as Curious Play or Mysterious Play. I've watched it a lot of times (Japanese audio with English subtitles, English-dubbed, and Tagalog-dubbed), even its OVA movies. It's a shoujo anime about a girl named Miaka which discovers a different life in a book found in school library. She met Tamahome, one of 7 warriors whom she'll fall in love. In the end, she was surprised that Tamahome can live in the real human world.

According to the profile of each character in Fushigi Yuugi, today is the birthday of Tamahome (or Taka Sukunami).  

I'm thankful to Yuu Watase who's the author of this anime. Even though it has sex content, I can't help myself to watch it again.

The reason why I liked those anime series because of its story that has a lot of twists and its characters. Now, I'm watching Kaichuo wa Maid Sama or simply called Maid Sama (the English name is 'The Student Council President is a Maid') which is about a student council president who works part-time as a waitress in a Maid Latte.

Anime is not only for kids but also for kids at heart. But these anime series came from manga. Whether you read the manga or watch the anime, sometimes you relate with that character in your real life.

I'm A Certified E.L.F. Because of Kim Ryeowook

It was last year that I became a fan of Super Junior. Their song "Mr. Simple" made me a certified E.L.F. But there's a handsome member that caught my attention. His name is Kim Ryeowook. I pleased my brother to buy me a Mr. Simple album with Ryeowook's cover as a Christmas gift. I was surprised that he absolutely bought it! It was the best Christmas gift ever! 

He's the first Super Junior member that I followed in Twitter. I found out that he is the smallest member when it comes to height. (Hmm... I'm small too. Maybe we're compatible. :-p) I also downloaded hits from Super Junior and his solo theme songs from Korean dramas.


Why did I like Ryeowook? I give you two words: handsome and cute. He has a cute smile and handsome face indeed.

He's turning 25 years old today. (Quite he's older than me, just 2 years.) I wish him happiness and continuous success in his career as a Super Junior member and hope he'll stay fit and healthy.

The JinTomia Addiction

Monster Radio RX 93.1 is one of the popular FM radio station in the Philippines who plays nothing but great music. Awesome DJs from this station work hard to play different genres of music to satisfy every listener's taste. 


There were rare times that I listen to it but my friend posted in our Facebook group page to tune in at 7pm because the show featured our favorite KPop artist and played some songs. I tried to listen to the show and I liked it. The show is called JinTomia. The DJs-on-duty are Jinri Park and Tom Alvarez.


The show has "KPop Goes My Heart" segment where they play songs from featured KPop artist. When I first listen to this show, they featured Super Junior. They also featured IU and CNBlue. I'm hoping that they will feature KPop stars who I idolize most like SHINee, Girls' Generation, and BoA.


They also have language lessons for free: Korean 101 by Jinri and Filipino 101 by Tom. Jinri is teaching Tom how to speak in Korean while Tom is teaching Jinri how to speak in Filipino. If Tom is not around, Jinri told the listeners on air to call their hotline to teach her how to speak in Filipino. I had fun listening to this part of the show where in Jinri tries to speak in Filipino and it's quite impressive because she's an easy learner. There were words, phrases, tongue twisters, and nursery rhymes.


When I wanted to say something, I suddenly tweet the DJs and the radio station with a hashtag everytime. I can't believe that one of the DJs, Tom Alvarez, followed me in Twitter last night, even he favorited two of my tweets. I was happy and hoping that Jinri will follow me too.


JinTomia is one of my favorite radio shows and it's very addicting when you always listen to it. Good job to the people who created this show. I give two thumbs-up to Jinri and Tom. And I hope that you will be featured in Radio MYX soon and play the best KPop songs.

Pinky ETUDE!

It's been almost a year since I first bought a product from ETUDE HOUSE. It's a purple petite nail polish that costs PhP 48. After I applied on my nails, it was so cute! I microblogged this photo on Facebook, Sina Weibo and Twitter.

Just colored my nails in purple. Aren't they cute? I used branded nail polish which is Etude House. I bought it last week at around 50 bucks.
