The Magic of Encantadia

Encantadia was my favorite series that GMA 7 aired. It followed Etheria and Avisala Encantadia: Love Until The End (Pag-ibig Hanggang Wakas).

Etheria: Ang Ikalimang Kaharian ng Encantadia
Encantadia: Pag-Ibig Hanggang Wagas

The story revolved around four royal-blooded sisters also known as Sang'gre: Pirena (Sunshine Dizon), Amihan (Iza Calzado), Alena (Karylle), and Danaya (Diana Zubiri).

from Left to Right: Pirena (Sunshine Dizon), Amihan (Iza Calzado), Alena (Karylle), Danaya (Diana Zubiri)

My favorite Sang'gre was Danaya, played by Diana Zubiri. She's the youngest and took care of the jewel of earth. My favorite scene of her was when she learned the English word "attitude" with some conviction after she went to the world of Milagros/Lira, which was played by Jennylyn Mercado. She became a queen from the finale of Encantadia until the final installment of the Encantadia series called Pag-Ibig Hanggang Wakas.

Language used in these series called Enchanta was very popular like "Avisala" (which was used in greeting someone) and "Asnamon voyanazar" (which means open sesame).

The theme song was sung by Jerome John Hughes and Karylle titled "Mahiwagang Puso" (Magical Heart).

I was once a Kapuso when GMA 7 aired phenomenal fantasy television series like Encantadia, Darna (Angel Locsin), Mulawin, and Majika. I watched every episode of these that I don't want to miss.

Now, this series will return and will be having its 2016 version. It'll be aired by GMA 7 around July. I'm looking forward who'll be playing the remarkable roles of Pirena, Amihan, Alena, and Danaya, even its visual effects thru the technology used today compared with the technology that was used a decade ago.
